WHAT MATERIALS ARE YOUR JEWELLERY MADE OF?

Zora Designs only use high quality pure silver, s925 sterling silver, surgical steel, stainless steel, platinum-plated, 18k gold-plated and gold vermeil jewellery in all of the products. We do not have any pieces that contain Nickel (a cheap, low-quality metal that is known to cause irritation and infection). 

Our gold vermeil jewellery are made out of 18k gold. Due to its thicker gold layer, gold vermeil is a durable option for jewellery ranging from earrings to necklace pieces. Alike standard gold plating, gold vermeil is also real gold. Zora Designs uses 18 carats. 

 

I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN, CAN I WEAR ZORA DESIGNS JEWELLERY? 

All of our pieces are hypoallergenic which means that there is minimal risk of causing an allergic reaction. Zora Designs source quality materials and use 18k gold plating. With that said, fashion jewellery (including plated, 925 Sterling Silver and all expensive jewellery brands) can experience normal wear and tear over time. To extend the life of your jewellery, please give them occasional breaks and keep them away from any moisture and creams.

All our pieces have been trialed and tested however it is up to the responsibility of the customer to ensure all sensitivity precautions are taken as we are unable to know each individual's allergies and sensitivities. Zora Designs take no responsibility or liability for any reactions that may take place. 

 

CAN I WEAR ZORA DESIGNS IN WATER?

Our exclusive Waterproof Collection pieces can be worn in water. Trialed and tested.

Please be aware that not all jewellery sold on our website can be worn in water as they are all made out of different materials. The specific jewels that can be worn in water are specified in the description box on the website.

 

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY? 

Our quality products range from pure silver, s925 sterling silver, stainless steel, surgical steel, 18k gold plated and gold vermeil, however they still need some TLC! 

To extend the life of your pieces, please give them occasional breaks and keep them away from any moisture and creams.

  • Please avoid all contact with moisture. This includes perfumes, deodorant, lotions, sunscreen fake tan and other liquids.
  • Please remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, and sleeping. (Besides our exclusive waterproof collection pieces.) 
  • Keeping your jewellery as dry as possible in a box or dust bag will prevent oxidisation as well as prolonging the nature of its colour and shine.
  • Gently wipe your jewellery with the our lint-free Zora dust cloth if polishing is required.

    WHAT IS CUBIC ZIRCONIA?

    Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is the ultimate diamond alternative with many of the same qualities. CZ mimics a diamond however is beautiful in its own right, producing more flashes of color & shine (known as fire) than a diamond.

    Cubic Zirconia is in fact heavier than a diamond of the same size and due to its incredible visual similarities it is often misrepresented as a pure diamond. 

     

    JEWELRY OR JEWELLERY? 

    For all you spelling Nazi’s out there. The simple answer is that both spellings are correct. “Jewellery” is spelt in Australia, UK and most parts of the world where English is spoken whereas “jewelry” is spelt primarily in USA and Canada. 

     

    WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY?
     

    For health, safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns and exchanges for earrings or any other jewellery that has been worn.  

    We do not offer refunds, exchanges or store credit on any sale items or due to change of mind. 

    Please fill out the returns/ exchange form and lodge it back to us via email. If your order qualifies for a return or exchange, our customer care team will authorise your return and advise on how to proceed. 

    If a request is not lodged within 14 days of the original purchase, it will not be eligible for a return or exchange. All returns and exchanges will be at the customers expense and must be returned in their original condition, undamaged, unworn and properly secured in the Zora packaging provided.

    Store credits are also available in substitute of an exchange.
